60th t-shirts

Here are some ideas I've had. These two are templates from CustomInk.

This I designed on CustomInk but is not from a template.

And of course, here is one with a picture. Its not a great photo...are there any wedding pictures? I don't seem to have any. Also, I was thinking maybe we should use Pops's "7 C's" logo...

Feel free to post your opinions or go to CustomInk to "The Lab" to design your own! Sorry the pictures aren't bigger...

someone in my spanish class did a sock puppet show for a project recently. (just thought i'd throw that out there)
We still haven't decided whether or not we are going to place restrictions, and if so, what they will be. Everyone seems to have an opinion about this, so please voice it here! i'd like to make some progress on this, although it has been placed on the "to do after midterms" list, along with many other things.
And since I didn't get many responses when i posted this on the t-shirt blog, what does everyone think about getting t-shirts done for the 60th? yes/no/maybe so? voice those opinions here too!

Puppet Theatres, available now at your local thrift store

Might I suggest small puppets. Finger puppets and hand puppets. Linnea and Julia have each just acquired a puppet theatre. I plan on bringing Linnea's to the fierce puppet competition in May.

puppets, like gordon, enjoy rueben sandwiches

I found this impressive puppet blog while actually googling my own blog (who doesn't google themselves?). It was indexed on some aggregating site along with Gordon's rueben sandwich post and all other things rueben sandwich related. there's a nice tutorial on how to make blinking eyes.

Also today is your last day to vote for your favorite puppets in the contest here!

a story?

So do we want to make puppets in preparation for a story?
My dad is pushing for "Midsummers Nights Dream"
Which could be fun.
Plus, it has like 20+ parts...but that would involve everyones participation.

Get inspired

Check out the Bread and Puppet theatre. They used to hold summer long workshops in the moyoane which would end in a giant puppet production. They taught me to walk on and make stilts too. It was fun fun fun!

I want to make a ...

Muppet style puppet.
